Lake Murray Drug Company opened our doors in 2018 to the communities of Chapin, Ballentine, Irmo, and Little Mountain. Justin and Shannon Carter along with Will Rodgers aimed to create a pharmacy that valued each customer and provided a personalized service that couldn't be found at large chain pharmacies. At Lake Murray Drug Company, getting to know each patient and providing them with care that's personalized to their unique needs is extremely important. Medication Synching - Medication synching allows us to deliver all your medication at the same time each month to minimize the number of trips you make to the pharmacy.
Easy Access – We make it easy to get your prescriptions, vitamins and other pharmacy needs. Walk In and pick up your order at the counter, we’d love to say hello. Our convenient Drive Thru is available for when you have less time or it is not convenient to leave your vehicle. Free Delivery within 10 miles of the store means we will drive your medications and hand deliver them right to your door.
We Carry Locally-Owned Epworth Ice Cream
Epworth Children's Home was founded in 1896 and their ice cream story began in the 1930's when the government issued peanut butter to orphanages as a low-cost protein source during the Great Depression. With a large supply of peanut butter, Epworth's famous peanut butter ice cream was born.
Epworth Ice Cream donates 100% of their profits towards benefitting Epworth's children's home and have since expanded their flavor base to include peanut butter, caramel, vanilla bean and vanilla chocolate swirl.

Two Locations – Lake Murray Drug Company has two locations to better serve your pharmacy needs. Our Chapin pharmacy is located at 105 Snapdragon Court, near Boland's Ace Hardware on Chapin Road. Our Irmo pharmacy is located at 2 Palmetto Wood Parkway, just across the railroad tracks from Lexington Medical Center Urgent Care on St. Andrews Road. We invite you to stop by either location to feel the difference of a community-owned pharmacy.
